Biography:
Currently working as a "rotator" while on leave from the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where I am a Professor of Geophysics at the Geophysical Institute. I have worked in both the Arctic and Antarctic studying sea ice, ice shelves and icebergs, and lake ice. I am also interested in science education, and have worked closely with K-12 teachers and students in Alaska.
