5 Major National Symbols Program Goals

1. Customer Service

Our customers are well informed of our program outcomes and opportunities. They have multiple ways to contact us and find the information they need. The information is delivered in timely manner.
2. Defining Program’s Policy and Structure to support field units.
The Symbols Program has a strong based autonomous structure. Field units are receiving prompt, accurate and consistent support from the WO Symbols program members and contractors.
3. Partnerships (both internal and external)
Our partners are strongly supportive and confident in our ability to manage our mutual interests. Effective communication keeps us alert of potential issues and management changes that may have an impact in the partnership/program.
4. Fiscal Accountability
The National Symbols Program is less dependent on budget allocated dollars. Royalties from Woodsy Owl licensing products are contributing to develop effective educational materials.
5. Products Development
– Outreach underserved population
The Symbols program leads in the area of production and distribution of high quality educational products consistent with the National Symbols messages. Field units receives support from WO and contractor in the planning and implementation of National Symbols special events
