ARMY

Olin Defense Systems/Winchester Group, Independence, Mo., is being awarded a $32,854,836 modification to a cost-plus award fee contract for the operation and maintenance of a government owned/contractor operated facility. Work will be performed at Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, Independence, Mo., and is expected to be completed by September 30, 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There were 17 bids solicited on October 3, 1984, and seven bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Armament, Munitions and Chemical Command, Rock Island, Ill., (DAAA09-91-Z-0009).

Sanders Engineering Company, Incorporated*, Yorba Linda, Calif., is being awarded an increment (appropriation number and dollar value will be issued with each delivery order) as part of a potential value $9,000,000 (if options I and II are exercised) firm-fixed-price/indefinite quantity construction repair contract for a basewide construction effort for the Military District of Washington. Work will be performed at installations in Washington, D.C.; Arlington, Va.; Alexandria, Va.; Fairfax, Va.; Bowling Green, Va.; and Fort Belvoir, Va., and is expected to be completed by March 8, 1996. There were 47 bids solicited on May 26, 1994, and 13 bids received. The contracting activity is the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Baltimore, Md., (DACA31-95-D-0015).

NAVY

Martin Marietta Information Systems, Orlando, Fla., is being awarded a $9,098,000 modification to previously awarded letter contract N61339-86-C-0152 for the procurement of one M1A2 tank driver trainer, and related supplies and services, for the government of Kuwait under the Foreign Military Sales Program. Work will be performed in Orlando, Fla., (90%), and in Kuwait (10%), and is expected to be completed by December 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Air Warfare Center, Training Systems Division, Orlando, Fla., is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

Defense and Space Group, Electronic Systems Center, Seattle, Wash., is being awarded a $40,400,000 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract. This contract provides for an Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) mission simulator (767 configuration), installation, checkout spares and technical orders. The work will be performed in Seattle, Wash., and Japan. Contract is expected to be completed September 1998. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract is in support of Foreign Military Sales to Japan. The Electronic Systems Center, Hanscom Air Force Base, Mass., is the contracting activity (F19628-94-C-0004, P00005).

Loral Defense Systems, Akron, Ohio, is being awarded a $17,762,998 face value increase to a firm-fixed-price contract. This contract provides for FY1995 contractor logistics support for the Weapon System Trainers applicable to the F-15 aircraft. The work will be performed at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska (25%), Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base,

N. C. (25%), Luke Air Force Base, Ariz. (25%) and Royal Air Force Lakenheath, United Kingdom (25%). Contract is expected to be completed September 1995. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is the contracting activity (F42630-91-C-1090, P00023).

Martin Marietta Aerospace Corporation, Littleton, Colo., is being awarded a $216,570,016 face value increase to a fixed-price contract. This contract provides for action to rephase the Titan IV launch vehicle production program. This will adjust the program to match the funding profile by slowing production and extending the period of performance. Contract is expected to be completed September 1999. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles, Calif., is the contracting activity (F04701-85-C-0019, P01132).
