Melody Mountz — Team Leader

Melody Mountz is a Sr. Administrative Assistant primarily supporting Dr. Jim Brainard, Director of the Chemical and Biosciences Center. She came to SERI/NREL in 1979 after graduating from the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in Special Education and Elementary Education.

Inger M. Jafari

Inger Jafari is a Sr. Administrative Assistant supporting primarily the Chemical Sciences and Carbon-Based Nanoscience Teams. She also supports Chemical and Biosciences Group Manager Garry Rumbles and Senior Research Fellow Arthur Nozik. She came to NREL in 1986 after graduating from the University of Colorado Business School. She is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. Inger grew up in Sweden where she studied foreign languages at the University of Uppsala before emigrating to the United States.

Consuelo L. Montano

Consuelo Montano joined NREL in 1997 as a Sr. Administrative Assistant in the Basic Sciences Center. She supports the following teams within the Center:

• Administration
• Computational Materials Science
• High-Temperature Superconductivity
• Optoelectronic Technologies
• Solid State Spectroscopy
• Solid State Theory

Consuelo enjoys new challenges and is currently working with others to enhance the Basic Sciences Web site. She created the Center's database, which is used on a daily basis to track and maintain information for the Center. Consuelo loves to travel and has had the privilege to live and visit many places around the world.

Lynn Westdal

Lynn Westdal joined NREL in 1999 as an Administrative Assistant. She supports the Biological Sciences and Catalysis Teams, as well as some members of the Chemical Sciences Team. Lynn has a B.A. in Music Education.
