CONTRACTS

DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

Akima Corp.*, Charlotte, North Carolina, is being awarded a $10,202,220 firm fixed price contract for operation, maintenance, security and protection services for Defense Fuel Support Point San Pedro, California. Work will be performed in San Pedro, California and is expected to be completed by September 1, 2001. Funds will not expire at the end of the fiscal year. The Defense Fuel Supply Center, Fort Belvoir, Virginia, is the contracting activity (SPO600-96-C-5651).

NAVY

ANADAC Incorporated, Arlington, Virginia, is being awarded a $5,428,676 modification to previously awarded contract N00024-95- C-6443 for United States Navy support for AEGIS ship project directives, material management and delivery tracking support, schedule support, production contract management support, cost studies and research efforts, cost estimating, and cost and schedule analysis. Work will be performed in Arlington, Virginia, and is expected to be completed by August 1997. Contract funds in the amount of $90,875 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Sea Systems Command, Arlington, Virginia, is the contracting activity.

AIR FORCE

McDonnell Douglas Corporation, St. Louis, Missouri, is being awarded an $11,783,135 cost plus fixed fee contract to provide for development of the Active Aeroelastic Wing (AAW) concept for flight testing. Contract is expected to be completed August 2006. Contract funds of $100,000 will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Solicitation began in February 1996 and negations were concluded in July 1996. Wright Laboratory, Wright- Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, is the contracting activity (F33615-96/C-3209).

Lockheed Martin Corporation, Denver, Colorado, is being awarded a $21,217,878 face value increase to a fixed price incentive firm contract to provide for four Inertial Guidance Systems applicable to the Titan launch vehicle. The work will be performed at Litton Guidance & Control Systems, Goleta, California (Santa Barbara county) (90%) and Lockheed Martin Corporation, Denver, Colorado (10%). Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Space and Missile Systems Center, Los Angeles Air Force Base, California (F04701- 96/C-0001).
