To support school performances by the Mariachi Tequila Band and the Grupo Folklorico Dancers. Artists will perform and then meet with K-12 students, including those of Mexican descent, to explain traditional instruments, dance, songs, and poetry.

To support pottery programs at the 33rd annual Kentuck Festival of the Arts. This project will initiate an Alabama Traditions component of the Festival, featuring artists whose families have included traditional folk potters, or who work in traditional styles. To support Shadow Sign Interpreters, and other costs for free performances of Macbeth and The Comedy of Errors. Shadow interpreters rehearse and perform next to actors during production, allowing deaf or hearing-impaired spectators to focus on the stage action rather than splitting their attention with separate signing interpreters.

To support a series of Capoeira Angola workshops, classes, and lectures with visiting master artists. The project will focus on techniques on this particular form of Afro-Brazilian dance and music through the instruction of masters Boca Rica and Joao Pequeno from Bahia, Brazil.

To support a residency and youth orchestra concert with visiting artist, Midori.
