Woodsy Owl
"Lend a Hand-Care for the Land!"
Woodsy Owl

Woodsy OwlWelcome to the wonderful world of Woodsy Owl! Help spread Woodsy's message: "Lend a Hand-Care for the Land"!, and highlight his themes of  "Give a Hoot-Don't Pollute!" and the four R's: reduce, reuse, recycle, and rot (composting). Woodsy's target audience are children 5 to 8 years old, but is loved by other age groups. Woodsy Owl is a mentor and guide, helping children see the world around them and to appreciate nature.

The USDA Forest Service National Symbols Program is offering Woodsy Owl promotional items for the first time. The assortment of new products in the catalog was chosen by an interagency task force representing a variety of our customers to better meet your needs. These products make it possible to introduce Woodsy Owl with or without a costume appearance.

Please spread Woodsy's stewardship messages and help Woodsy to grow in his role as America's conservation symbol. Directing kids and teachers to Woodsy's web site (under major revision) is one way to expand Woodsy's message. Woodsy can be integrated into all of your resource program areas.

Please remember, items from this catalog are intended for use in conservation education activities and cannot be resold.
