VISN 1: VA New England Healthcare System

The VA New England Healthcare System (NEHS) is an integrated, comprehensive health care system comprised of eight medical centers located in the six New England states (Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut). New England is a large geographic area that spans the full spectrum of socioeconomic conditions from dense, urban centers to sparsely populated rural areas. The primary mission of the NEHS is to provide quality health care and related services to eligible veterans in New England.
