2008 Poster Contest Winners

POSTER CONTEST TIPS AND RULES

1.  Each poster is judged for originality, design, slogan, artwork, and overall effectiveness

     of the message.

2.  Each poster is 11 x 17 inches in size

3.  Bold colors are best (a tip!)

4.  Students from 1st through 5th grades may participate

5.  Every poster MUST feature EITHER Smokey Bear OR Woodsy Owl (and cannot

     feature both).

6.  Every poster MUST include the slogan of the selected icon on the design.

(For Smokey Bear: "Only YOU Can Prevent Wildfires!")

(For Woodsy Owl:  "Lend A Hand - Care for the Land!")

7.  The message must be easily understood and contain NO spelling errors.

8.  The Posters must be completed by the individual student artists.
