Employment in OGAC

Thank you for your interest in employment opportunities in the Office of the U.S. Global AIDS Coordinator.  The office employs a wide range of Civil Servants, Foreign Service Officers, and contractors on both permanent and temporary assignments to implement the President's historic Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief.  Staff includes experts in public health, foreign assistance programming, strategic planning, Congressional and public affairs, budgeting and management.

Civil Service vacancies in the office are generally announced on the U.S. Office of Personnel Management's USAJOBS website at www.usajobs.opm.gov.  The USAJOBS website also contains information on opportunities available at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, its constituent agencies, and the U.S. Agency for International Development - all are closely involved in implementation of the Emergency Plan.

The office also participates in the State Department's numerous student programs, including internships and fellowships.  Further information on these programs is available at http://careers.state.gov/students.

The office will accept unsolicited resumes and other expressions of interest in employment opportunities, which will be kept on file and considered as opportunities arise; however, senders should not expect an immediate response.  Resumes may be sent to SGAC_Employment@state.gov. Questions may be directed to 202-663-2440.
