The Committee on Education and the Workforce has a dual mission to empower
parents and teachers to provide students with the best education possible
and giving American workers access to the tools and protections they
need to meet the challenges and opportunities of the New Economy.

Four subcommittees are responsible for bills and matters that related
such education related issues as: measures relating to education, agricultural
colleges, arts and humanities, Gallaudet College, Howard University,
