After Action Conference

We deeply regretted having to cancel the After Action Conferences (AAC) scheduled for September 8-10 in Orlando, Florida but we are pleased to announce that the conferences have been rescheduled for all of our surface transportation programs: Freight Rail Security Grant Program (FRSGP), Intercity Bus Security Grant Program (IBSGP) and the Transit Security Grant Program (TSGP) for both Tier I and Tier II.

As you may recall, the purpose of these conferences is to solicit your feedback and recommendations on the Fiscal Year 2008 grant programs and enable open conversations about how to improve various aspects of the programs. Representatives from the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be facilitating the discussions to elicit and collect your thoughts on the entire grants process to help shape future fiscal year processes.

For the FRSGP and IBSGP security partners, DHS will be conducting After Action Conference Calls as follows:

Date: Tuesday, September 23, 2008
Time: 1:00 PM EST
Call-in number: 877-988-9660
