Notice To Data Users

The fields of science and engineering (FOS) data tables in this report, Federal Funds for Research and Development: Fiscal Years 1994, 1995, and 1996, Volume 44 (NSF 97-302) are being revised. Since the release of this report, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) made a statistical adjustment to its data values for the years 1994-96 to diminish a computational error that was found in its software. This adjustment will impact both NASA and national FOS data displayed in selected tables of Volume 44. These tables (Tables C-1, C-15 through C-47, C-105a, C-106a, and C-107a) will be replaced with corrected data in the soon to be released Volume 45.
