Six States Account for Half the Nation's R&D
(March 27, 1998)This Data Brief presents statistics on the geographic distribution of research and development (R&D) expenditures in the United States. Topics covered include the distribution of total R&D performance by state, state ranking in R&D performance by state and by sector, and the state distribution of Federal support for R&D.
