Cropping Systems and Water Quality scientists cooperate with University of Missouri colleagues on several research and demonstration programs.

Water Quality and Aquatic Biological Assessment of Hunter’s and Devil’s Icebox Caves*, Boone County, Missouri - This project is a collaborative research effort of the USDA-Agricultural Research Service, the University of Missouri-Columbia, Missouri Department of Conservation, and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. Each of these organizations are represented in the newly formed Missouri Karst Ecosystem Group (MOKEG) which is an interdisciplinary group of scientists and cave conservationists dedicated to studying the impacts of land-use on water quality and ecosystem function in caves and karst topography of the Ozark region.

MPAC Logo  Missouri Precision Agriculture Center (MPAC)* - The Missouri Precision Agriculture Center is an organization dedicated to coordinating and enhancing the University of Missouri's research, teaching, and outreach efforts in site-specific crop management.

ASEQ LogoAgricultural Systems for Environmental Quality (ASEQ)* - Agricultural Systems for Environmental Quality (ASEQ) is a multi-state research and education program initiated in 1996 to address water quality and other environmental issues. The Missouri ASEQ project is a cooperative effort of the University of Missouri College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources, University of Missouri Extension, and the USDA-ARS Cropping Systems and Water Quality Research Unit. ASEQ builds upon the knowledge obtained from the Missouri Management Systems Evaluation Areas (MSEA) project.
