COMMUNICATIONS AND INFORMATION FOUNDATIONS (CIF)

This program seeks to support transformative research that addresses the theoretical underpinnings and current and future enabling technologies for information acquisition, transmission, and processing in communication and information networks.

Topical areas include: Communication and Information Theory; Signal Processing; Network Information Theory (including network coding); Sensor Networks; Wireless and Multimedia Communication; Foundations of Computer and Network Security; and Quantum Information and Communication.
