Champions for Environmental Leadership and Green Government Innovation Recognition

This program acknowledges the good work of individuals and groups in other federal agencies. Honorees show leadership by going above and beyond the call of duty in working to improve the environment and protecting our natural resources.

West Coast Diesel Collaborative

The West Coast Collaborative is a public-private partnership working to reduce diesel emissions along the West Coast. The Collaborative is the first pilot of EPA's National Clean Diesel Campaign.

Brownfields Redevelopment

The Brownfields program sets out to expand, redevelop and reuse properties which have been contaminated by a hazardous substance or pollutant. Cleaning up and reinvesting in these properties increases local tax bases, facilitates job growth, utilizes existing infrastructure, takes development pressures off of undeveloped, open land, and both improves and protects the environment.

ENERGY STAR is a joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy helping us all save money and protect the environment through energy efficient products and practices.
