Education for Sustainability has been described as the act or practice of learning how to achieve global and local sustainable communities. The desired outcome is an informed, engaged citizenry with the social, economic, and ecological literacy, creative problem-solving skills, and commitment necessary to implement individual and cooperative actions to further this end.
