About

Megan is a Physical Science Technician for the USGS InSAR group. She handles web development, database administration, and other computer or technical issues for the group. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two miniature dachshunds, getting lost in the mysteries of Lost, listening to music, and gardening.

Research Interests

Megan got her BA in Mathematics before following a lifelong dream of studying Geology. She quickly realized that her forte was working with computers rather than field work and pursued an MS in Geology with an emphasis on Geophysics. She is interested in using computers to represent geological problems and concepts and facilitate research. She has been in the field of InSAR for only a few years but has enjoyed learning about the subject and is eager to learn more.
