On September 4, 2008, the National Science Board Task Force on Sustainable Energy held its third and final roundtable discussion about the science and engineering challenges related to the development of sustainable energy. The roundtable was held at the University of California, Berkeley Clark Kerr Campus Conference Center.

On June 19, 2008, the National Science Board Task Force on Sustainable Energy held its second roundtable discussion on Science and Engineering Challenges Related to the Development of Sustainable Energy. It was open to the public and was held at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Visitors Center in Golden CO.

On February 8, 2008, the Task Force held its first roundtable discussion to obtain diverse perspectives on the science and engineering challenges related to the development of sustainable energy.
