Audit and Oversight Committee (A&O)

The Audit and Oversight Committee is responsible for overseeing NSF's principal administrative processes, financial systems and internal controls. As delegated by the National Science Board, the Audit and Oversight Committee provides general supervision over the NSF Inspector General who is responsible for all audits and investigations of NSF programs, awards, and personnel. The Committee also reviews and advises the Board of issues related to the effectiveness, efficiency, or integrity of NSF's operations. View the Charge for the Audit and Oversight Committee.
