Region 10 Reading Rooms
In the interest of reducing security threats while maintaining public access to information, sections 2 through 5 of the Risk Management Plans for Region 10 facilities including the Off-site Consequence Analysis (OCA) can be accessed at our reading rooms. The Anchorage, Alaska and Seattle, Washington EPA offices offer reading rooms on site and are available to the public by appointment. Idaho and Oregon reading rooms are operated through the Department of Justice and are located in Boise and Portland, also available by appointment.
Reading Room guidelines
- Any person may read paper copies of the documents but is not permitted to remove the documents form the reading room or make any mechanical or electronic copies
- Personal notes are allowed
- Access is granted to data from up to 10 facilities per year regardless of geographic location
- Additional access is granted to RMP’s from facilities that are located within or have a vulnerable zone within the jurisdiction if the Local Emergency Planning Commission (LEPC) where the person lives or works
