Rosetta Swinton is president and CEO of New Beginnings Consultant Services, providing health seminars, health ministry startup trainings, personal development and more. She is president and founder of Caring Community Development Coalition, which focuses on health and education and targets underserved families & communities especially single mothers. She is a Registered Nurse and graduate of State University of New York At Stony Brook, Stony Brook NY—School of Nursing 1976. She has 10 years experience as a critical care and ER nurse and over 30 years in faith-based health education and community health coordination. She serves as Director of Health of the Seventh Episcopal District Health Commission in July 2000 and has implemented a statewide health ministry in the AME church. In Oct 2005 the AME health ministry received national recognition from the National Governor's Association as a best practice health model for the nation by Governor Mike Huckabee of Arkansas. In May 2006 received the Healthy South Carolina award from Governor Mark Sanford for best faith-based health model in the state.

She is a fulltime Registered Nurse at Medical University of South Carolina—Dept of Medicine, Office Of Special Initiatives and Department of Rheumatology Lupus Project, the website administrator for Health-e-ame.com, and editor of Health Matters Newsletter, the author a number of health articles for local national and local publications and magazines. Ms Swinton is a member of the APHA Faith-based and Community Caucus, speaker's bureau for the American Stroke Association/American Heart Association, a member of the American Cancer Society Advisory Committee, President of the SC Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity, SC Coalition for Obesity Prevention Effort (SCCOPE) Leadership team member, Hospice Care Of Choice Advisory Board member. She has provided numerous presentations and workshops to international groups, the US for the national Governor's Association and throughout South Carolina for TV and radio and has several publications including "Women After The Heart Of God Devotional Guide" and "Words of Healing". She has written and co-authored a number of health articles.
