Back-to-School Tuition Assistance Program

Back-to-School is a competitive and popular program that enables eligible employees to earn, at the Agency’s expense, an academic degree, enroll in certificate programs, and take short courses during off-duty hours that strongly support the DHS and USCIS missions.

The Agency has established guidelines to ensure that this education is of the highest caliber, relevant, and timely. The primary objective of this program is to enable employees to complete their initial undergraduate degrees. However, assistance is also available for graduate study in fields/subjects of critical relevance to the DHS and USCIS missions.
