Director Gonzalez Welcomes Over 200 New U.S. Citizens

On July 31, 2006, more than 200 Miami area residents were sworn in as United States citizens during a special ceremony at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Dr. Emilio Gonzalez, Director of U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), administered the Oath of Allegiance and addressed the new citizens.
