DEFENSE LOGISTICS AGENCY

United Medical Supply*, Fort Worth, Texas, is being awarded a $60,413,351 firm-fixed-price contract for medical and surgical supplies under the Prime Vendor program. Work will be performed in Lubbock, Texas; Fort Worth, Texas; San Antonio, Texas; Sugar Land, Texas; Oklahoma City, Okla.; and El Paso, Texas, and is expected to be completed by May 31, 2000. The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pa., is the contracting activity (SP0200-97-D-7133/7134).

NAVY

Joseph J. Henderson & Son, Inc., Gurnee, Ill., is being awarded a $5,749,500 firm-fixed- price contract for construction of an approximately 42,780 sq. ft., two-story addition to Building 130H, the existing Hospitalman/Corpsman "A" School, and all incidental related work at Naval Hospital, Great Lakes. Work will be performed in Great Lakes, Ill., and is expected to be completed by August 2000. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. This contract was competitively procured with 30 proposals solicited and seven offers received. The Engineering Field Activity, Midwest, Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Great Lakes, Ill., is the contracting activity (N62467-97-C-0824).

ARMY

Raytheon Co., Raytheon Electronics Systems, Marlborough, Mass., is being awarded a $5,076,048 modification to firm-fixed-price/fixed-fee with economic price adjustments/time and materials hybrid contract DAAB07-96-C-A510. This effort is for the fabrication, integration, test and delivery of an additional four switched low-rate initial production Tri-band Tactical Terminals, Heavy High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicles variant (T3(H)s). Work will be performed in Marlboro, Mass., and is expected to be completed by April 30, 2001. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There was an announcement on the electronic bulletin board on April 15, 1996, and 16 bids were received. The U.S. Army Communications & Electronics Command, Ft. Monmouth, N.J., is the contracting activity.
