Region 10 Champions of Environmental Leadership Recognition Program
Beginning in 2003, EPA Region 10 created a means for federal agencies to celebrate in each others success as well as gain recognition by showing environmental leadership and going ‘beyond compliance’. This program showcases those who have been selected. We applaud the efforts of these agencies and look forward to continuing this effort into the future.

Performance Track in Region 10
Performance Track is a voluntary partnership program that recognizes and rewards private and public facilities that demonstrate strong environmental performance beyond current requirements. This program believes that The program is based on the ideal that government should complement existing programs with new tools and strategies that not only protect people and the environment, but also capture opportunities for reducing cost and spurring technological innovation. Performance track also offers participating members low inspection priority for routine inspections.

Performance track requires that applicants have a WORKING EMS for at least one year before applying. Region 10 currently has two federal agencies that have met this criteria. For more information contact Bill Glasser, Region 10 Performance Track Coordinator at (206) 553-7215.
