Performance Track

Performance Track recognizes and drives environmental excellence by encouraging facilities with strong environmental records to go above and beyond their legal requirements. Members set typically four public, measurable goals to improve the quality of our nation's air, water, and land. Members include major corporations, small businesses, and public facilities that are steering a course toward environmental excellence. Currently, the program has over 500 members, including 28 in the Pacific Northwest. Pacific Northwest Performance Track facilities are producing significant beyond-compliance environmental results for our region.

Applications Accepted
• April 1 - May 31
• September 1 - October 31

Program Entry Criteria
Facilities applying to Performance Track must have:
1. an established Environmental Management System in place
2. history of Sustained Compliance
3. commitment to Continuous Environmental Improvement
4. dedication to Community Outreach

Environmental Results

Performance Track Members in the Pacific Northwest have:
★ Reduced water use by over one billion gallons
★ Increased the use of reused/recycled materials by over one hundred tons
★ Reduced solid waste by over one thousand tons
★ Reduced Sulfur Oxide air emissions by fifty-six tons
★ Reduced Nitrogen Oxide air emissions by almost nine tons
