Our New Design: Program Summary Page

The Program Summary page makes it easier to find the information you need, including program contact information and proposal due dates. The information on this page comes directly from the NSF Program Information database and is the most up-to-date information available. An individual Program Summary is reached from the Funding section or a Program Area/Directorate within the NSF organization. Click a number below to explore the new Program Summary page.

The NSF website has a new look, with many new and improved features:

Item #1 The NSF navigation bar appears at the top of the page and makes it easy to reach the main NSF sections. An additional navigation bar may appear if you have reached this program summary through a Directorate.
Top
Item #2 A Search box appears in the upper right. It allows you to limit your search to a specific content type or search the entire NSF website.
Top
Item #3 The Program Name appears as the page title.
Top
Item #4 Contacts for the program appear below the program name.
Top
Item #5 A link to official Program Guidelines appears below the contact information. The guidelines include the detailed information about the program and specific instructions on how to apply. Be sure to review this information carefully.
Top
Item #6 Due Dates appear below the program guidelines. The Due Dates section will tell you if an initial proposal is required, when the proposal due dates fall, or if the program is no longer accepting proposals. Some programs accept proposals all year. If due dates are not listed, please review the Program Guidelines.
Top
Item #7 The Program Synopsis appears below the due dates. The synopsis gives a general overview of the program. More information is available from the program guidelines link above. Please contact the program contact if you have questions after you have read the full guidelines.
Top
Item #7 The Funded as Part of This Activity links will help you find other programs that are funded under this activity. Alternatively, the activity the program is funded under may be listed under This Program Is Part of.
Top
Item #7 Awards, News, Discoveries and Events links may appear below the related documents. These links will take you to lists of awards to Principle Investigators made from this program, news items related to this program and upcoming events for this program.
Top
Item #7 Navigation for your current NSF web section appears in the left column.
Top
Item #7 Information on How to Prepare Your Proposal and How to Manage Your Award is reached from the left column.
