Senior Enlisted Advisor

Chief Master Sergeant Thomas L. Gillett, Jr. is the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the Director, National Reconnaissance Office, Chantilly, Virginia. He serves as the principal adviser to the Director and senior staff on matters relating to the morale, welfare, quality of life, training, discipline, effective utilization, professional development, and force structure for over 569 Joint Service enlisted members assigned to the NRO in locations worldwide. He ensures NRO policies are known and resolve enlisted issues and sensitive personnel matters.

Chief Gillett graduated from Tarpon Springs High School in June 1977 and entered the Air Force November 1978. He has held a variety of positions in the Space and Missile career field and has experience in Minuteman III and Peacekeeper ICBM weapon systems; Atlas II and III, Delta II, Titan IV and Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicles (EELV); Processing facilities; and multiple spacecraft programs.
