Nonindigenous Occurrences: Recorded in Colorado (D. Horak, personal communication); Delaware (Raasch and Altemus 1991); Illinois; Indiana; Kansas (B. Burr, personal communication); Mississippi (International Game Fish Association 1994); Missouri (B. Burr, personal communication); Nebraska (Jones 1963); Oklahoma (B. Burr, personal communication); and South Dakota (North Dakota Game and Fish Department 1994).

Means of Introduction: Either intentionally stocked as a sport fish or occurs as the result of stocking one or both parent species in an area.

Status: Established in Delaware. Reported from other states mentioned above.

Impact of Introduction: Unknown.

Remarks: These hybrids are capable of reproducing and backcrossing. Most progeny from such unions are males (92--97%) (Raasch and Altemus 1991).
