Nonindigenous Occurrences: Florida: Atlantic Ocean: wreck of the USGC Cutter Duane, just SW of Key Largo [near Molasses Reef]; shipwreck Donal G. McAllister, about 2.2 km offshore of Hollywood, Florida; oil rig jackets of Tenneco Towers [off Hallendale]; shipwreck RSB-1 [off Pompano Beach]; shipwreck Captain Dan [off Pompano Beach]; Palm Beach Inlet [Palm Beach, FL]; Port of Miami Mitigation Reef; shipwreck Princess Anne [off Boca Raton]; shipwreck Jay Scutti [off Ft. Lauderdale]; shipwreck Ancient Mariner [off Pompano Beach]; shipwreck Tortuga [off Miami]; shipwreck Rodeo 25 [off Pompono Beach] Gulf of Mexico: shipwreck Amesbury [just NW of Key West] (Fenner 2004).
Louisiana: Established in northern Gulf of Mexico (Fenner 2004).
Texas: Established in Gulf of Mexico (northwestern portion) on the East Flower Garden Bank National Marine Sanctuary; Geyer Bank, a coral mass about 12 miles east of the East Flower Gardens; oil platforms in Flower Garden Banks National Marine Sanctuary (Fenner 2004; Cappielo 2005).
