Common Name: Northern Red-bellied Turtle

Taxonomy: available through ITIS logo

Native Range: Atlantic coastal plain from central New Jersey south to northeastern North Carolina and westward up the Potomac River to eastern West Virginia. Relict populations in southeastern Massachusetts (Fritz and Havas, 2007).
