Taxonomy: available through ITIS logo

Native Range: According to Claudia Mills (1998), this is one of several Gonothyraea species reported from the Pacific Coast by Fraser (1937).  If it is actually a single species, then it may be native to the eastern Pacific and should not be considered nonindigenous.
