Marsha V. Kazarosian elected MBA vice president at Sept. 18 House of Delegates meeting

Special election held to replace the late Robert F. Lucas Jr.

Kazarosian VP

Marsha V. Kazarosian was elected to fill the open vice president position at the Sept. 18 House of Delegates meeting.

One of the MBA's vice president positions became vacant after the passing of Robert F. Lucas Jr., a senior partner with Nigro, Pettepit & Lucas LLP in Wakefield. Lucas was an active leader in the MBA for many years, sitting on 14 MBA committees and boards. Kazarosian was elected vice president at the House of Delegates meeting held in Worcester yesterday.

Kazarosian is managing partner of Kazarosian Law Offices in Haverhill, where she concentrates in civil litigation, family law and discrimination. Kazarosian has been a member of the MBA for more than 25 years. She has served on nine committees and sections, including the Access to Justice, Civil Litigation, Family Law and Probate Law section councils. Kazarosian has also served on the MBA's Executive Management Board, House of Delegates, Joint Bar Committee on Judicial Nominations, Nominating Committee and Gala Dinner Committee. In addition, she is a life fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, this year serving on the Fellowship Committee.

Alongside Kazarosian, the other 2008-09 MBA officers include: Valerie A. Yarashus, president-elect, Boston; Robert L. Holloway Jr., vice president, Peabody; Denise Squillante, treasurer, Fall River; and Douglas K. Sheff, secretary, Boston.
