Getting Started: U.S. Exporters

Large and small exporters should check the Business Opportunities section of USTDA'a website regularly. These pages will tell you what projects are under development and what contracts have been awarded. This information enables you to follow-up with overseas project sponsors and U.S. firms selected to do USTDA-funded work to tell them how your company can help them to achieve the project's goals. You can recieve a biweekly email with links to these pages by subscribing to USTDA's free eNewsletter.

U.S. exporters should also monitor upcoming USTDA conferences and orientation visits for opportunities to meet directly with key foreign decision makers. A link to USTDA's Events Calendar with registration contact information is included in the agency's eNewsletter.

The USTDA library maintains final reports of all USTDA activities. Copies of reports can be viewed between 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the USTDA Library located at 1000 Wilson Boulevard, Suite 1500, Arlington, Virginia. Executive Summaries of USTDA studies are available free of charge via our Library Holdings online database and many USTDA funded reports are available for purchase through the National Technical Information Service (www.ntis.gov). Questions on how to obtain copies of specific reports should be directed to the USTDA Library at (703) 875-4357.
