Check-Up Day Pledge

Congratulations to the thousands of women who took the time to schedule at least one of the preventive health screenings recommended by their doctor or nurse during May 2008.

2008 Check-Up Day Pledge Statistics

  • 2,585 pledges were made in 57 states and territories
  • The state with the highest participation was Missouri with 194 pledges
  • Florida came in second, with 146 pledges
  • Texas and California tied for third, with 143 pledges

My Check-Up Day Pledge

As a participant in National Women's Check-Up Day, I will:

  • use the interactive screening chart wizard to get an idea of the types of screenings I may need;
  • contact my doctor or nurse to discuss these and other tests or screenings I may need to get now;
  • schedule an appointment for at least one of these preventive screenings to occur within the next 90 days; and
  • I will celebrate a healthier me and a healthier US.
