Recognizing the GSA SmartPay® Card
Information helpful in recognizing the various GSA SmartPay® fleet, travel or purchase cards.
To Merchants who accept the Purchase card:
- Cards may be either a VISA or a MasterCard. Visa cards will begin with either 4486 or 4716. MasterCard cards will begin with 5568.
- Cards may be issued by US Bank, Citibank, Bank of America (formerly NationsBank), Mellon Bank or JPMorganChase (formerly Bank One).
- Cards will have two different background designs.

- Cards may have two different background designs.

Let customers know the GSA SmartPay® card is accepted there.
GSA has developed a logo to identify the GSA SmartPay® program. By using this logo, cardholders will know which merchants will accept the card.
