Boeing Commercial Airplanes has been the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for more than 40 years. New product development efforts are focused on the Boeing 7E7, a super-efficient airplane that is expected to be in service in 2008. The company has nearly 13,000 commercial jetliners in service worldwide, which is roughly 75 percent of the world fleet.

Connexion by BoeingSM is a mobile information services supplier providing high-speed, two-way Internet-based connectivity to aircraft in flight. The Connexion by Boeing service is currently available to the executive services market in the United States, including operators of private and government aircraft. Commercial airline passengers were introduced to the service in 2003.

With more than 35 years experience in equipment lending and leasing, Boeing Capital Corporation is structured to provide innovative financing solutions for commercial airplanes, business aircraft, and space and defense products. The company has a portfolio of more than $12.2 billion.

The company's Integrated Defense Systems unit is the second-largest contractor to the U.S. Department of Defense, providing U.S. armed forces and its allies around the world with fully integrated, high-performing systems solutions and support.

Boeing Integrated Defense Systems provides end-to-end services for large-scale systems that combine sophisticated communications networks with air, land, sea and space-based platforms for global military, government and commercial customers. The company offers a wide range of defense and space systems products and services. It designs, produces, modifies and supports fighters, bombers, transports, rotorcraft, aerial refuelers, missiles and munitions and is on the leading edge of military technology through its unmanned systems development efforts.

Boeing Integrated Defense Systems also supports the U.S. government on several programs of national significance, including the Missile Defense Agency's Ground-Based Midcourse Defense program, the National Reconnaissance Office's Future Imagery Architecture, the Air Force's Evolved Expendable Launch Vehicle program and NASA's International Space Station. The company has become the systems integrator for several new programs, including the U.S. Army's Future Combat Systems and Joint Tactical Radio System, and the Transportation Security Administration's Explosives Detection Systems.

Boeing employs nearly 157,000 people, in 70 countries and 48 states within the U.S., with major operations in the Puget Sound area of Washington state; Southern California; Wichita, Kansas; and St. Louis, Missouri.
