My husband is blind and has traveled safely for years with only two incidents involving cars neither of which would have been helped with audible signals or tactile warnings. The proposed regulations requiring all traffic lights to have audible and tactile warnings are not workable and not needed.

My taxes are too high as is and these regulations will waste the resources I give the government at the present time. Additionally it is possible that future employment may be denied my husband or others lack of these signals and bumps.

Weather will not be kind to either technology and could result in more damage than if not installed as mandated.

Reject these regulations. They are ill conceived and not acceptable.

Sincerely,

Leona Marie Winchester
