I support the recommendations of PROWAC in making sure that sight-impaired persons have access to the information sighted pedestrians take for granted and to the detectable warnings they need to know when they are about to enter space where vehicular traffic will be present.

For instance, the new combined gas and electric cars will be too quiet for sight-impaired individuals to
hear when crossing a street. This is very important. Please implement PROWAC recommendations.
