 To Whom it may concern,

I am writing to express hope that modifications go forward for
accessable travle. These modifications should include where possible,
autible crossing signals and tactile warnings. I lost 2 good friends who
were blind to senselessly being run down, accidents that never would
have happened if there had been audible crossing signals. In this age of
quiter cars crossing streets for the blind is becoming way too
dangerous. We desparately need the audible signals. We also need the
tactile warnings as curbcuts are not always easily discernable. Please
bare this in mind when making final decisions, these modifications are
necessary in order for blind people to maintain our independence.
