I am writing in response to the portland hearing on APS I feel that they are not needed. As a blind tax payer i do not want our money to be spent on this project. I fully and totaly support the National Federation of the Blind in that Aps [s] should not be installed on every streat corner. I have lived in Seattle in the past and if you have ever done much walking around that city you would understand that theirs quite a lot traffic never once did i feel as if i need a aps to tell me when it was safe to cross...
