To Whom it May Concern:

I am a member of the National Federation of the Blind. It is my belief that audible traffic signals are, not only unnecessary, but possibly hazardous. Since we use traffic flow to determine when it is safe to cross lighted intersections, it is important that we are not distracted by extraneous noises.
