I have recently learned about efforts to put audible pedestrian signals on street corners. I wish to say that I support these efforts. I have traveled with friends in Europe, and have heard them at some intersections. Even though, I did not travel alone there, I think they would be helpful. I believe we should take advantage of all available technology to make life safer. I don't believe they are needed on every corner, but they are needed at all major intersections and at most inner city intersections.
