I would like to take this opportunity to express my support for audible traffic controls. Obviously, there are those, who believe that such signals are not necessary. However, not only do these instruments assist blind or visually impaired persons, but other persons that experience different limitations, such as the elderly, light sensitive persons, etc. Accordingly, I strongly support the recommendations contained in the PROWAC report.
