I am writing in full support of any and all audible and tactile signals that will help visually impaired persons travel more safely. Audible pedestrian signals are a great help to most visually impaired and blind people. There are those who say we don't need them, but they don't speak for all of us. In fact, they speak for only a few. Tactile warning strips do save lives, and are very important. I urge you to do what you can to make these very important aids available wherever possible.
