I have always been a strong supporter for Audible Traffic Signals, I leared about them about 10 years
ago. I was in College and an advocate for Visually Impaired and Blind and Disabled Students. I am blind
myself. I lobbied for years in Sacramento and in my local home town of Orange County to have them
installed at the major intersectioned that had high statistical information from the Police department and
from the City of Santa Ana. I feel that Audible traffic signals help keep drivers aware and alert as well as all pedestrians blind, disabled, elderly, etc... Please let it be known that I support the use of of Audible Traffic Signals.
