Small Businesses Grow with GSA's SupportThis content is kept online for historical reference and is no longer updated. Links may be broken and content may be inaccurate and/or out of date. Posted December 30, 2004 Working with small, small disadvantaged, women, veteran, service-disabled veteran, HUBZone-certified, and Native American/Alaska Native business owners, GSA’s Office of Small Business Utilization (OSBU) helps small businesses take advantage of GSA procurement opportunities. Whether it’s finding training to become a GSA Schedule contractor or obtaining suggestions about how to contact government acquisition officials, OSBU is there to help your business. OSBU points of contact across the country know the issues facing small business owners. Each plans training and outreach activities in their region. Want to know the events OSBU is planning? They’re available in one handy list, sorted by date. The GSA “Forecast of Contracting Opportunities” website lists the products and services GSA anticipates buying. Now that you know what it’s called, look for similar lists posted by other agencies. GSA’s “Subcontracting Directory” has information about small businesses teaming up with GSA’s large prime contractors. For help with this directory or other support to help grow your small business, contact the GSA Small Business Utilization Center in your area. Index of Feature Stories
