The Federal Acquisition Service (FAS) continues to experience a Power Outage at WillowWood.  We do not expect the power to be restored until late Friday evening, June 6th, or possibly later.  The Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer has authorized the use of administrative leave for Thursday June 5th and Friday June 6th for the FAS employees that work at WillowWood.

The Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer has also advised that employees in a position to do so may be allowed to telework during this situation.  Employees should assess their work assignments to determine what work can be accomplished under the circumstances, and under the conditions being experienced at their alternative worksite.  Work that can be done in spite of the limitation of resources may continue; such work may include telephone contacts, internet-based research not requiring access to compromised GSA resources, On-Line University training, review of "hard copy" documents available to the employee, etc.

We are working diligently to restore the IT support at WillowWood.  For updated information, please check the following sources regarding when to report back to work and when systems are available.
